Along the way, perfume got a bad rap. Artfulness was lost. Scents became cloying and unoriginal. The industry turned its back on the misfits and outcasts. Josh Meyer recognised a niche and Imaginary Authors was born. A risk-taking attitude and his encyclopaedic knowledge of scents culminated in a line of unisex fragrances unlike any other. Designer and creative director Ashod Simonian then created packaging inspired by the stories the scents evoked. Dreamy maximalism combined with bold and original perfumes?
