When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Or in this story, when mom sends crates full of grapefruit, lemons, and herbs from the family farm in Louisiana, you make jams and marmalade.
And so was the birth of BRINS, whose name comes from the Cajun French word for “little bit.” Founded in Brooklyn by our friend Candice, a Louisiana-native, architect, and avid maker, BRINS Jam & Marmalade is handcrafted in small batches with fresh fruits and spices, creating bright, striking flavors inspired by the city and community around her. They’re so tasty, you may just want to stock up.
Can’t get enough?
You can find more delicious BRINS flavors at one of our favorite shops down the road.
